The Story Behind The Diff China
I was born and raised in Congo Brazzaville in a modest, faith-filled family. Growing up as a servant at the Catholic Church shaped me early — discipline, humility, and a deep sense of purpose. My mother's words never left me: "To achieve anything in life, you must work hard and be honest." Those are the values I carry everywhere.
I arrived in Suzhou to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering — alone, in a country with a completely different language and culture. I embraced the challenge, learned Mandarin to Level 5, and built my life from scratch, one day at a time.
Before finishing my degree, I moved to Guangzhou and worked part-time as a model. Out in the city every day, I kept getting approached by foreigners lost in the markets, asking me to help them translate. I realized I was already doing this naturally — and that people genuinely needed it.
I quit my modeling job to go all-in on my sourcing business — with school fees still unpaid and no guaranteed income. It was scary. But I trusted that if I worked hard and stayed honest, nothing would be impossible. That trust is what kept me going.
